Ordinance / First Reading / Introduction:
#04-35 – An Ordinance amending and supplementing Chapter 195 “Affordable Housing,” Article II “General Provisions, “ Section 195-7 “Affordable Housing Agency Established” and Article iii, General Provisions, Section 195-16 “Responsibilities of Developers and Owners;” and Section 195-17 “Violations and Penalties” of the Code of the Township of North Brunswick.

#04-36 – An Ordinance of the Township Council of North Brunswick amending and fixing the salary and wages for various officials and employees of the Township of North Brunswick and providing for payment thereof.

 #04-37 – An Ordinance amending and supplementing Chapter 3 “Administration of Government,” Article II “Township Council,” Section 3-4 (B) “Election; Term Compensation” amending both sections to provide for the option of receiving State Health Care Benefits  

#04-38 – An Ordinance granting Municipal Consent for the operation of a cable system within the Township of North Brunswick, New Jersey to CSC TKR, Inc.

Ordinance / Second Reading / Public Hearing:
#04-33 – An Ordinance to amend Chapter 205 to create a Planned Adult Community Summary of purpose: To amend the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map of the Township of North Brunswick by changing the zoning classification of Lot 20.01 in Block 227 (commonly known as the Pulda Farm) from R-1 (Single Family Residential) to PAC (Planned Adult Community.) This ordinance, if adopted, will, among other things (i) permit single family homes, duplexes, townhouses and flats for households where at least one member of the household is 55 years or older; (ii) provide development standards for all developments within said PAC Zone District; (iii) allow for certain density bonuses as more particularly set forth therein; and (iv) provide open space and recreation requirements.

#04-34 – An Ordinance authorizing amendment to Chapter 276 and 352 of the Township Code pertaining to water and sewer rates and services. Summary of purpose: The proposed ordinance defers a water and sewer rate increase for six months. The pertinent section of the Township Code currently has a rate increase scheduled for January 1, 2005, and each successive January until 2015. The ordinance, if adopted, would defer the increase to July 1, 2005 and each successive July until 2015.
