Passport Information

HOW TO APPLY FOR A U.S. PASSPORT

Applications for passports may be obtained at the Municipal Clerk's Office between the hours of 8:30 A.M. through 4:00 P.M.

Passport applications are accepted at the Municipal Clerk's Office as follows:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The following documentation is required for FIRST TIME APPLICANTS:

• Completed Passport application
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Proof of Identity (Driver's License, Original Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Naturalization Certificate)
• Two passport photographs, 2x2 with white back round, front view.

Fees:

If you are 16 years or older: The passport processing fee is $75 made payable to U.S. Dept. of State. In addition, a fee of $25 is charged for the execution of the application made payable to North Brunswick Township. Two separate checks are required. Credit cards are not accepted. The passport will be valid for 10 years.

If you are 15 years or younger: The passport processing fee is $60 made payable to U.S Dept. of State. In addition, a fee of $25 is charges for the execution of the application made payable to North Brunswick Township. Two separate checks are required. Credit cards are not accepted. The passport will be valid for 5 years. Both parents must be present with children under the age of 15.
