The Senior Citizen Center, located at 15 Linwood Place, is your home away from home. We are happy to have you join us any weekday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Senior Center is an active, comfortable place to spend some time, meet with other seniors, and to enjoy your leisure hours.

The building is owned and maintained by the Township, under the direction of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services, to provide activities and information to the residents of North Brunswick who are 60+. No dues or membership is required to participate in Township sponsored activities.

Transportation is available by minibus for non-drivers. The suggested donation is $1.00 if you are traveling one way or round trip. Rides to the Senior Center are $.50, one way or round trip.

The monthly calendar and the Senior Sage list all the activities’ dates and times, plus any special trips or events of particular interest to seniors. Please note that the kitchen is now open, thank you for your patience. Some of the most popular on going programs include:

GERMANFEST @ EHRHARDT’S BANQUET CENTER - Strudel making demonstration and make your own pretzels, German luncheon and German Show! Located in Hawley, PA on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack!

WINTER HOLIDAY DANCE -  Enjoy our annual dance at North Brunswick Senior Center, with live music, entertainment and dinner. 

HOLIDAY SHOPPING @ QUAKERBRIDGE MALL - Get your holiday shopping done and join us at this great local mall!  Minibus transportation. 

NEW YEAR’S EVE @ DOOLAN’S IN SPRING LAKE - Mike Byrne All Star Productions’ presents a fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration at the beautiful Doolan’s in Spring Lake!  Enjoy a one hour open bar, salad, choice of three entrees, dessert, coffee or tea and wine and soda on table.  Balloon drop & party favors for Daytime Midnight Madness!

SIGHT & SOUND  “JOSEPH” - Experience a cast of 45 professional adult and children actors, dozens of live animals gracing the aisles, several amazing dream sequences including Joseph in his colorful coat “flying” over the audience, plus, twenty original songs! Includes admission, lunch, and Motorcoach transportation.

SENIOR FITNESS CLUB -  For those 55 and older this energetic group meets for a regular regimen of low – impact exercise.  Seniors must have a DPRCS Fitness Pass to participate. Passes are available at the DPRCS office for $15 per year.  A Senior Fitness pass holder is eligible to participate in our Senior Swimming at the NBTHS Pool which is held three days a week and our Senior Walking Program.  Senior Walking takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am-10 am.  Walkers meet at the Senior Center and depart for area parks or Brunswick Square Mall during the winter.    Check the Senior Sage or call DPRCS for dates and times of Senior Swim.
